Help

Ask anything about this place. The keeper answers at once, day or night.

Hello. I look after this place. Ask me anything about stars, letters, your plan or your account, and I will answer plainly.

The short answers

Is lighting a star really free?

Yes, and it always will be. A star, the public memorial page, the candles visitors leave, and your dog's place in the shared sky cost nothing and need no card. Nothing you have already written is ever taken away, whatever plan you are on.

What are letters from heaven?

Letters written in your dog's voice, personalised from what you shared about them: their breed, their habits, the small things only you would recognise. On Moonlight one arrives every week, and the first arrives within minutes of joining. They are a form of remembrance and comfort. They are not real contact with an animal who has died, and we will never pretend otherwise.

What does Moonlight cost?

6.99 a month, or 59.99 for a year, charged in dollars or euros depending on where you are. The price and the renewal date are shown before you pay and again on the payment screen. Payment is handled by Stripe, so we never see your card details. A part of every contribution goes to a dog rescue shelter in Slovenia.

How do I cancel?

Yourself, in two clicks, in Settings. No email, no waiting on a reply from us. Cancelling stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. After that the star simply returns to the free sky, with every letter and memory still in it.

Can I get a refund?

Because access begins the moment payment succeeds, payments are generally final. But if something genuinely went wrong, you were charged twice, charged after cancelling in time, or a fault on our side stopped things working, write to info@lettersfromdogheaven.com within 14 days and we will put it right. Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. The full wording is in the Terms.

Can I delete my account and everything in it?

Yes, yourself, in Settings. It removes your account, your dogs' stars, all letters, memories and candles, permanently. There is no way back, so we ask for your password first.

How do I reach a person?

Write to info@lettersfromdogheaven.com. One person runs this place, so we cannot promise a reply to every message, and the keeper above will usually answer you faster. Anything about a payment or about getting into your account is always dealt with.

You never have to wait for us to change your plan, cancel, or delete your account: all three are in Settings and take effect at once.
